They served as places to hold the Jews and keep them from escaping the occupied countries and parts of countries. The ghettos also held Jews until they were sent to the concentration camps. This also showed the power and anger of the Nazis.

Kristallnacht was important to history because it showed the intensity of the Nazi-Germans. It was also the first time Jewish people were arrested on a large scale and sent to concentration camps. It also showed how little the Nazi-Germans cared about the Jewish people because they made them arrange to emigrate out of the country before being released from the concentration camps. Kristallnacht lit the fuse that led to the Holocaust.

Nazi anti-semitism was very important to history. It was the driving force behind many key points in the Nazi reign in Germany. It was a key component of Kristallnacht and created the problem that required the "Final Solution." Also, it united the people of Germany to fight for a cause. Without this driving force, World War II would not have happened.

Concentration camps were a large part of history. They served as a prison/workhouse/killing chamber for Adolf Hitler. They are a direct result of Nazi anti-semitism. Without them, Jews would have not been tortured as harshly. They gave a purpose to the Allies fight against Germany.
Final solution importance to history
The final solution was one of the biggest parts of the Holocaust. It was the plan that served as the kiss of death to many Jewish people and if it was not stopped, would have eventually killed all of the Jews in that large area of Europe. Even though it was a horrible thing, it showed the cleverness of Adolf Hitler. Without it, many Jews would still have lived on.

The Nuremburg Trials attempted to do justice to the Holocaust, but failed. The Nuremburg Trials was where German Holocaust leaders were prosecuted. The trials did no fully make up for the Holocaust, but having the Nuremburg Trials was better than nothing to prosecute the German leaders
